TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
Everything in one place, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, and website regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
